Buy Hamlet's BlackBerry: A Practical Philosophy for Building a Good Life in the Digital Age

I was intrigued by the title of the book and a bit skeptical of whether it would be
too intellectual. So I read the book and was pleasantly surprised that the author speaks to all audiences.

Reading this book really woke me up as I was very connected and was wondering why I always felt like I was on a merry go round trying to get off.

Hamlet's Blackberry was certainly an eye opener and a scary one. It was so refreshing to have Powers, who is a brillant writer, share his personal stories, as the idea in the book is to enjoy the digital age but also to have deeper meaning in life with rich relationships. It was also a great balance for the book. I could identify with just about every example he shared.

I've started on my journey of disconnecting. I'm going to start observing Sabbath Sunday by turning my computer off on Saturday night until Monday morning and hope to progress to the whole weekend as Powers does. I will then hop on the freedom train and enjoy the journey.

Thank you William Powers. You are truly a genius with a beautiful soul.Get more detail about Hamlet's BlackBerry: A Practical Philosophy for Building a Good Life in the Digital Age.
