This was a VERY excellent companion to go with my new camera, and I am very happy I purchased this guide. I read it all the way through while trying out all the tips and tricks during reading, and really learned quite a bit. This was not my first DSLR, but I still learned a things that are very helpful. And what's also great is that the author wrote in many of her own opinions on certain topics, and while I didn't always agree, it was nice to read about and be aware of.
