Attempting to get the first meaningfull example program, listing-15.1 to compile, was unsucessfull in over 4 weeks trying.
Book was; Pro Android 2 from Apress publisher
Email contact for any of the authors is unavailable, which I find unacceptable. Most authors post their email contact address in their books. This seems to be a problem when multiple authores are involved.
My email to the publisher went unanswered.Get more detail about Pro Android 2.
